Three Israelis lightly injured by shrapnel after rocket barrages at Ashkelon, greater Tel Aviv area
Two Israeli women were lightly injured by shrapnel after a rocket fired by Hamas terrorists from Gaza directly hit a nearby building in the city of Ashkelon on Tuesday evening, Israel’s Magen David Adom ambulance service stated.
Three other people, two of them children, suffered acute anxiety attacks but were not physically injured.
Shortly afterward, an unusually large barrage of rockets was fired at the greater Tel Aviv area, with alarm sirens being activated in Tel Aviv, Petach Tikva, Bnei Brak, and Rishon Letzion. Several rockets were intercepted, while others fell in open areas.
One man was lightly injured by shrapnel and rocket parts fell to the ground in Tel Aviv, Holon, Ramat Gan and Yavne, Israeli media reported. In Tel Aviv, a school was hit directly by rocket shrapnel.
