Israeli forces are besieging Hamas leader Sinwar’s home in Khan Younis, Netanyahu announces

The Israeli army is besieging the home of Yahya Sinwar, the leader of the Hamas terror organization in Gaza,
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced in a short video on Wednesday evening.

“Last night, I said that our forces can reach anywhere in the Gaza Strip. Now they've encircled Sinwar’s house. So he isn’t holed up in his house, and he can escape, but it’s only a matter of time before we get him,” he said.

The Israeli army in recent days advanced on Sinwar’s hometown of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

Netanyahu added that he again demanded that International Red Cross staff visit the remaining Israeli hostages, who are currently being held captive in Gaza in the hands of Hamas terrorists and their accomplices.

“I spoke with the president of the Red Cross again today and I told her to turn to Qatar – since it has been proven that they have leverage over Hamas – and demand Red Cross visits with our hostages and, of course, the providing of medicines for them."
