IDF intercepts ‘hostile aerial target’ from Lebanon in first alarm on northern border in days
A “hostile aerial target” was intercepted after crossing from Lebanon into Israeli territory on Thursday morning, the Israeli army stated.
Because of the incident, alarm sirens were activated on Israel’s northern border with Lebanon in Mattat, Sasa, and Dovev for the first time since last Saturday.
About 20 minutes later, the IDF declared the incident was over, reporting no damage or injuries.
Hezbollah unofficially joined the pause in fighting between Hamas and Israel after daily attacks on Israeli targets since the start of the war.
