Drone and rocket barrage from Lebanon targets Acre and towns in Haifa Bay
Several rockets and a drone were fired from Lebanon at the northern Israeli city of Acre and towns on the outskirts of Haifa on Thursday, according to Israeli media reports.
A drone was shot down near Acre, the IDF confirmed, and several explosions of Iron Dome interceptor missiles were heard in the area. No reports of damage or injuries were received.
Rocket alarms were activated in the southern part of Acre, as well as in Kiryat Yam, Kiryat Bialik and Kiryat Motzkin.
At the same time, three drones were launched at Israeli targets in the Mount Dov region.
Despite any official confirmation, in all likelihood, the Lebanese terror group Hezbollah or a Lebanon branch of Hamas was likely responsible for the attack.
